Ryuichi Sakamoto + Shiro Takatani

As usual, I go to about every Sakamoto related exhibition and event, so I could not skip this one (I am sure I have seen it before somehow).
Located somewhere in Azabudai Hills, where I have never been before. I even went to the wrong station (Roppongi) and had to walk for 20 minutes instead of getting out at the right station: Kamiyacho, which also has that newish Family Mart, the Famima Flagship Store.

I went inside, but besides looking new and pretty, it had the usual tourists and white expats you would expect from the area. They had an entire grill station for Fami-chiki, though.
The exhibition was nice in the end. Located in the Azabu Hills gallery, accessible from the subway (or from the ground, like where i came from), it is easy to find.
I got no idea what they usually show there, but this one was just a room with huge screen from one side of the room to the other and a few couches for viewers in front of it. If you want to, you can also grab a pillow to sit on the floor. Maybe not the worst idea, because there will be more people than seats.
Not to spoil too much, but on the screen you had various videos, ranging from the ocean, over Sakamotos desk to a mountain, processed and distorted digitally, while Sakamotos music is playing in the background. Not too loud, but also not quiet.
Surprisingly pictures and even videos are allowed, if the shutter sound and any other noise your camera/phone could make is turned off.
The event is still running until 2026.10.25. I might even go a second time.
